Welcome to Season 2 of Tranquility du Jour, where we’re diving deep into the complexities of midlife. Together, we’ll chat with inspiring guests, share practical tips, and create space for the reflections and insights that midlife brings.
In this week’s edition of Tranquility du Jour, I chat with returning guest Victoria Moran on:
Aging with Purpose: Victoria emphasizes the importance of embracing life’s later stages with intention and vibrancy. She believes midlife and beyond are times for self-reflection, continued growth, and redefining what it means to "age like a yogi," focusing on spirituality, health, and leaving a positive legacy.
Body and Health Changes in Midlife: She speaks candidly about the physical shifts that come with aging, such as changes in body shape and health. Victoria encourages listeners to approach these changes with self-compassion and acceptance, viewing their bodies as "vintage homes" that require extra care and attention.
Building Resilience Through Routine: With her background in yoga and Ayurveda, Victoria suggests grounding practices like maintaining a daily routine, practicing mindful eating, and prioritizing self-care rituals that nourish the body and soothe the nervous system, especially during life’s transitions.
Celebrating Midlife Beauty and Connection: Victoria champions seeing beauty in oneself and others at every age, encouraging women to connect with their community and embrace the wisdom and elegance that come with life experience.
